Check In Check in at Sea Crest is on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and check out is on the following Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The Welcome Center is open until 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays during the months March through October and 6:00 p.m. from November through February and 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. After the welcome Center is closed and up until 1:00 a.m., there is a courtesy phone on the side porch of the Welcome Center and the Security Guard will issue a key upon receipt of a credit card number. Guests will be expected to check in with the office the following morning after 9:00 a.m. A word of warning. A late check in is strictly until 1:00 a.m. Please gauge your travel time, as there will be absolutely no check ins after 1:00 a.m. Location Sea Crest is located a little over a block from the Atlantic Ocean on the north side of Coligny Plaza. Directions Coming from the Savannah Airport and the north or south on I-95, take Exit No. 8 in South Carolina. That will put you on U.S. 278 East, which will bring you across the Intracoastal Waterway onto Hilton Head Island. There are two ways to reach the Resort from there. Business 278 (right lane) shops, restaurants, malls, etc. OR Cross Island Parkway (left lane)$1.00 toll. This will save 20-25 minutes. Either way you will eventually arrive at a traffic circle. Go around to the Pope Avenue exit, travel one mile on Pope Avenue to next circle. Go around to North Forest Beach exit, then one block and turn left on Avocet Rd. Sea Crest is 1/2 block on right. From Hilton Head Airport turn left onto Business 278 East and follow the above directions around both traffic circles. |
